Director Denis Villeneuve will get to complete his 'Dune' saga. Following the success of Dune's opening weekend, production company Legendary Pictures greenlights the sequel.
The second installment of the rebooted franchise will complete the original story of Frank Herbert's first novel of the same name. Confirmed thus far, lead actors Timothée Chalamet (Paul Atreides), Rebecca Ferguson (Lady Jessica Atreides) & Zendaya (Chani) will reprise their roles. Stellan Skarsgård who portrays Baron Vladimir Harkonnen is also expected to return. Dune 2 will be in Theaters October 2023.
